Driving Directions to Hacienda Trailhead: From Highway 85, take the Almaden Expressway exit south 4.5 miles to Almaden road.
Exit to the right on Almaden Road and drive 3 miles along Almaden Road through the town of New Almaden to the unpaved parking lot on the right.
Runners, please be prepared for all types of weather heat, cold, rain and wind. Course maps show both of these distances running counterclockwise loops. 50k runners after the first manned aid station Negro Flat you will also run a clockwise loop on the Caples Creek loop.
13.1 Mi, 10k runners after the first aid station at the first SPLIT, English Town the Yellow Kid Trail, 13.1 Mi, 10k runners turn LEFT - All distances will also be marked with Signs/Distances/Direction arrows Gypsum/White chalk on the ground/Direction arrows/Distance numbers.
Some signs may say (ALL) meaning all distances continue in that direction.
Click here for a local map RIBBONS will mark the entrance to the Event Center/Start/Finish on Mormon Emigrant Road. Start/Finish Sly Park Recreation Center Area Event Center. Course is primarily single track run in beautiful Pollock Pines.
Bathrooms are available at the start/finish and along the course in a few areas primarily in the campground areas. Cell phones will work at the start/finish & much of the course. Pre-registered runners qualify to purchase a T-shirt for an additional if they register at least 10 days (two Wednesdays) before the Saturday events. Great running, some technical sections roots, rocks, very challenging course, no big climbs or long downhills.RIBBONS will mark the entrance to the Event Center/Start/Finish on Mormon Emigrant Road. Almaden Quicksilver County Park is located in south San Jose. This event is solely run inside the very historic Marshall Gold Discovery Park.
